Laser Division Brochure

Crawford's Laser Cutting Division provides customers with precision cuts for mild steel, stainless steel, tool steel, aluminum, and plastics.  The cutting center is the largest in the Quad city Area.

Crawford has three cutting centers in its' facility.  The largest is a 1700-watt machine, while the company has two other smaller capacity 1350-watt machines.

The Laser Division, compliments Crawford's long-standing tradition of excellence in specialty fabrication.  Crawford presents complete services in reference to laser cutting, CNC punching, metal forming, and welding.

The main Balliu Cutting Center features two large pallets, each measuring 78" (wide) x 157" (long).  These pallets measure considerably larger than standard beds.  Each pallet has a 2000-pound capacity.

The main machine has a cutting bed accuracy +/- .002" and was assembled in 2000.  The laser is a 1700-watt Rofin Sinar.

The laser has a pierce/cut at 1" for plastics, 5/8" for mild steel, 1/4" for stainless steel and galvanized, and 1/8" for aluminum. 

The smaller 1350-watt machines feature 60" x 120" beds for more efficient operation. The smaller machines have a 1000-lb. capacity.
